If you got it on o2, it's locked to o2, so people here are comparing apples and oranges. An unlocked phone would cost 599 new. Locked can be had from £29 on o2.
If you want to sell it for the price you're hoping for, you'd better get it unlocked first

typical off scooby net users, hence why people are being put off this website.
to many people jumping onto other peoples threads to put in there 2 pennys worth.
if you are not interested in buying the mans phone surely the best thing to do is to be decent enough to leave the thread open to people who do want or would like to have the chance to make an offer on it.
you might get a lot of messers on the dreaded ebay but you dont get all the crap that comes with it.
ive just got my iphone 4, been with 02 6 years and still had to pay £129 for it, insurance has doubled on it and excess is a £100, all this with an 18 month contract
good luck with the sale mate as i have been in the same situation as you on here, everybody is entitled to an opinion but there is a time and a place.

cheers micky boy there have been a few who wish to shoot me down for trying and i did sell it on ebay but the buyer never responded so if i dont get a serious offer i might keep it
