Cleaned up the off topic posts, so please drop the subject. Also, it's been difficult to follow this thread with all the text speak being used - could you please use full words as per the T&Cs for the site?

Believe no-one Do you know for certain that the buyer you have spoken to is the guy that lives at that address? Why are you chasing this engine and not the seller for your money back?

It all seems a little odd to me why you are the one calling the couriers etc

the courier could be his mate, his brother or even his business.

You have one option and that is go after the bloke that owes you either money or an engine.

yes the other buyer told me he lives at that address himself and i got his number sent to me by a long time user on this forum..and im trying to chase the engine to see who is actualy telling the truth and im calling the transport company because the seller said they have proof of delivery so i wanted to check that out and they are telling the truth and if the company has made up a p.o.d so the seller can prove they sent it im pretty sure that would be fraud and this company is a very big company not one man and his van so think that is out the question now ive just been told by the seller than they will give me a refund so we will see all i want is to get my bloody car up and running

the engine was advertised being sold with everything alternator, pumps manifold even turbo but what actualy arrived was a bare block in a pretty bad state so im told so either way the seller is a scammer even if he didnt take me money, yellowevo is going to post up pics of what was advertised and what actualy arrived

The easier you make it for the police with a clear and concise statement the more chance you have of them putting effort in to it and bringing this guy to book.
You may have to be forceful with the police to get them on the case. Make it clear you are not leaving it until it is sorted.

Damn, I bought a few bits of this guy and was getting to the point of wondering why it hadn't arrived yet. Glad I paid through Paypal and marked as for goods. Hopefully get the £40 back. Hope you get your £400 back mate, makes mine seem a bit insignificant.
