Sorry mate, that's just the way I feel about him.

When he first came on the scene he was a nice normal lad, I knew someone who had lunch with him and Colleen at United and they couldn't say enough good things about the pair of them, lovely polite down to earth people, but as time has passed he has turned into a right royal ***** culminating in his transfer request earlier this season (dont have time to list all of his misdemeanors inbetween )

That transfer request was shameful and he should have been booted out imo, how any of those that turn up at OT chant his name is beyond me, he's like Ronnie, showed zero respect for us the supporters, SAF or club with that episode, he's dead in my eyes dont care what he's done before or since the sooner he is sold the better.

I understand - don't apologise.

I was just wondering if there had been any provocation prior to the action, as I only watch it on MOTD

I still believe Rooney is going in the summer and i really hope he is as well, he's typical of most of the first choice England players nowadays, just a complete **** that seems to think he's better than he really is.

Basically he was running forward off the ball and McCarthy went to body check him so Rooney decided to elbow him in the side of the face. Wasnt a full elbow more of a brushing glance but still should have been sent off imho.

Agree with FM. You could just about bear him when he was scoring goals left right and centre last season but after that he has done **** all for utd or england.

Does anyone know where I can get all the necessary inoculations as I'm going to the quaint little ground that is Stamford Bridge to watch the game tonight.

Unfortunately, I'll have to sit with the unwashed Chelsea fans so I'm practising my chat " Gorblimey, geezer, aven't the Queen gor a luvverly smile, innit","Giggs is a faarkin' caaant" etc. Should fit in beautifully.

In a small gesture towards the home fans, I'll also be leaving the wife at home as I wouldn't want to distract JT or take the risk of Cashley Ahole shooting all over her.

Damn. Good 1st half at least posession wise not necessarily chance wise. At least we made it an entertaining attacking game.

Good goal by Shrek but his pathetic dives in & around the pen area show how desperate the man is.

The formation seemed effective and set out to attack but Nani was pretty tame out on the left. Evra had an excellent game coming forward. I blame Nani for the first goal he just stood and watched Luis and made no attempt to closing him down.

Pen was super soft. Smalling had another blinder. I think even though the pen wasnt a pen Chelsea had enough chances in the 2nd half to deserve the win.

Terry's dirty tactics seem to be rubbing off on the other Chelsea players. They deffo got away with some sharp tackles especially Luis.

We need to bounce back at Anfield and hopefully when Arsenal get turned over by Barca next week and with no RVP we will have a decent chance in the FA Cup (providing Arsenal win tonight )

Re the game - it happens. All my Chelsea mates celebrated the penalty then turned to me and said sorry that was never a pen... (like they really gave a toss ).1-1 would have been a fair result.

First half Chelsea were an embarrassment - apart from Ruiz who was head and shoulders their best player all night, even allowing for the Rooney/ Chicharito off the ball treatment which all top centrehalfs should have in their locker. He was very very lucky not to get a second yellow for the Rooney one but that's Karma after what potato head did the week before.

The whole evening was made even more pleasurable by then going back to the pub and being patronised by cockerney wanchors of the like of Johnny Vaughan and Sean Locke amongst others. Oh how I enjoyed that...

Hey Fat Boy, it's a plastic club with plastic fans what do you expect.

Cracking game, let down by some poor decisions, I felt we were worth the draw or even the 3 pts but should have put the game to bed by half time so no one but ourselves to blame. We just seemed to get turned over against Chelsea with shabby decisions in probably the last 3 meetings, except the community shield.

Smalling was big again and Luiz impressed me again except his crude challenges, should have been sent off.

That 3/1 I got on Arsenal 2 weeks ago looks a gem of a price.....

As I said, she'd have been fine and you could've treated her to the delights of electricity and indoor toilets.

That's the chance you take when USA are in town, getting tickets in the Chelsea end like you did

Sadly, Mrs FB is a southern girl and so knows only too well what a toilet Stamford Bridge is so there would be no chance of getting her there.

Given the ticket I had borrowed was a Chelsea season ticket, and all the genetic throwbacks sitting all around me had various embarrassing bits of bri nylon Chelsea kit on (including one belter with "Tores" on the back ), then your argument holds no more weight than your trophy cabinet will at the end of the season.

Perversely, I did enjoy it actually (well the first half anyway ) aside from the fact that the main beneficiaries were the Library dwellers...

You think? As a I neutral I thought the referee was a joke. Luiz should have seen red and the decision for the penalty was a shocker.

Fergie knew he was going to get into trouble but when you look at the refs decisions in the last 14 games he has ref'd for chelsea, 13 wins 1 draw, 11 penalties and 3x as many yellows for the opposing team compared to chelsea then somethings start to look slightly funny.

Yeah i do.He has no right to complain about refereeing decisions. They get more shocking decisions go in they favour than go against them.Ask Wigan fans about Mark Clattenburg performance on Saturday. Some of his decisions were so i'm told were very poor(and just not the Rooney elbow)

He also in so many words called the Ref a cheat. Now Martin Atkinson had a poor game and maybe a poor ref but doubt he's a cheat.

He didn't use the word cheat, it's so easy to turn these "comments" into something they're not for your own benefit.

Still I'd rather my team was managed by an outspoken passionate manager with a winning mentality rather than one that bends over and takes it and does as he's told.

Hey leave Roy Hodgson alone

I agree totally with what you are saying and at the end of the day as much as I am not keen on him I think Ferguson has a point, the decisions were shockingly bad and even as a neutral it made me wonder what the heck was going on.

Explain the comment then "It was a major game for both clubs and you want a fair referee".
