What a joke, I only hope the board have told him they're going to have a spend up .
That said he has damaged his relationship with the fans and possibly team mates, will take a while to get that trust back, nothing less than good performances and goals from now on you little ****.
At least when Fergie sells him next summer we can now get a better price for him !

My reasoning is the same as Monsieur Munkii's... He'd best buck his ideas up and give the perfomances/goals. If he doesn't, being tied to a looong contract is better for Utd come sale time.
Kinda glad as I have Rooney on the back of my Utd shirt (this isn't NSR so I am allowed to admit I wear a replica shirt without fear of reprisal from the supposed middle classes)

LMFAO.
Rooney is a petulant prat who wanted more money, and by threatening to leave got it. Never thought I'd see the day a player had SAF nuts in his grip and was able to squeeze until he got what he wanted.

Who cares why he's signed, he's signed and i hope that was the thing bothering him most and he shows some of what we got from him last season. Personally I hope the reason's Rooney gave for wanting to leave are true and that he has been given some assurances that players will be signed (we sure need some).
As usual the banter is good in here with a few new faces weighing in too
Anyway JT and A.Cole are the two biggest ***** in the PL
Could be worse, could be scouse and have Jamie Carragher signing a new deal and heading to the Championship
I've got nothing for the Arsenal fans other than you'll look pretty until march as usual

Not at all FM.
Personally I've never rated Rooney as high as most people, and was looking forwards to seeign where he went, and for how much.
He'll never be looked at in the same way again at UTD, IMHO. You don't hold the club to ransom, and move on like nothing ever happened. Even though he's still there, I don't see the problem going away. His team mates now know that he feels their not good enough. Good for team morale?

Police were called to Wayne Rooney's home the other night as a crowd of 30 men protested outside.
Turned out it was just fairytale creatures seeking refuge after Lord Farquaad had kicked them out of their homes.
