I may know of one comming up for sale soon.
UK MY97 with about 50K with FSH - tottaly standard except the wheels. I'll ask my mate when I see him tomorrow, as he's still iffing over selling it (his missus wants the funds to buy a Mini
). I'll shoot you a PM if if I find out anything more.

Yeah Ali, I'm open to suggestions..
Ideally I want to buy one from someone on here .. my ideal car as I've said would be a classic either at around 300bhp or with a few choice mods and the lower price letting me make the changes ..
My Scooby was 280 so I don't want a slower one ..

Sorry to see that Pimmo.............did get a quick look at her when JGM was doing the NW mapping session. Was always a bit partial to the green. Hope the test driver was not hurt............was it DD?

Funnily enough my green classic got hit by a white van about 18 months ago. They say there is something about green cars being the most accident prone, people don't see them ???
What category of write off is it? Mine was a CAT C which meant it could be fixed up and put back on the road after an inspection. I bought the car back off the insurance company for 10% of the value (4K), so i paid 400 for it. I sold it on to someone who worked in a body shop and made a over a grand profit. My car looked similar to yours.

there are 1000's of cars that have crashes and are put on the road, obviously not all done to the same standard, but its your car, just an idea. i know sometimes its best to start fresh, but you might not get as good a car for the money the insurance company have given you.
good luck with whatever you choose,
