Or you could just go to Amsterdam and see lots of hilly bits in the red light district

I'd usually w*rk every possible BH to earn double, plus a lieu day. Then I can take a day off when the roads are quieter, places are quieter, there's no queues, prices aren't artificially inflated and I have more to spend anyway having earned OT rate, the weather has more chance of being better, and there are less ar$eholes (general public) to deal with. This one however I am attending a wedding doo on Sunday evening, so didn't have the option to w*rk
I like the three BH's at Xmas and NY, but I'd scrap the other five and just give everyone an extra five days flexible holiday if I were God.

Visiting mates in East London on saturday, cycling if sufficiently recovered on sunday and/or gardening and probably gardening and cycling on monday.
Or WTF, do all the above but the gardening and be proud of my 4' weeds in the flower beds.

I'll be togged up as a punk rocker tonight (28th) for my other halfs birthday do / 10th wedding anniversary.
What she doesn't know is that I have just trousered £2,500 from a bet of £200 on challenge jackpot dot com
I feel the need for a few bottles of champers
Well up - will post a link to photos in due course.

I shall be mostly doing the square root of not a ******* lot, the level '0' plan is that I get drunk Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, eat a few takeaways and watch a few films on the box.... under NO circumstances will I - cut the grass, wash the car or paint the ******* windows...
There was a time when I didn't have windows just youthful abandon and a liking of pernod & black ... ahhhh, they were the days!

Roast beef then port with the gf tonight (we're a bit skint cos we're off to Australia in 3 weeks - gf is an Aussie).
65 mile road cycle tomorrow in preparation for my first ever 100 mile sportive, which is in 2 wks. Bicycle and Scoob are my two alternate forms of transport.

No bank holiday here in Scotland, we had ours at the beginning of August
I've left the sofa on at least two occasions today - once to get some malt loaf and once to get a bottle of wine. Plans for tomorrow were to watch the local raft race but the Belgian Grand Prix is looking like it's going to be a wet one so the excitement of the raft race will have to wait until next year. Monday I shall be mostly doing nothing much too
