Richard,
The TD05 is as tough as old boots, just a bit laggy, relative to it's flow.
IIRC, TP was the "other car" that Pat beat............
A FM on it's own will still give benifits, but re-mapped will reap far more.
Mark.

Rich, you and me have "similar" mods on our respective cars, So, how do you explain a difference of 56BHP at Well Lane between 2 supposedly identical cars?.
I am not in the slightest jealous far from just really curious!
a Standard UK was 215BHP STi 276 difference 61BHP not much in it Richard I am sure you will agree!

I have no idea Alan m8, but I swear to God that mine is a UK.
I had it dynoed at Well Lane 12 months ago (see dyno site) with a K&N and Magnex backbox and got 223bhp.
You were running 1.1 bar weren't you at Well Lane? I was on 1.3, so that may account for "some" of the difference. I also run octane booster (not sure if you do) and I've got lightened underdrive pulleys which will free up some bhp.
I agree, with your spec you should have got nearer 280-300, don't know why you didn't. Maybe just unlucky on the day?
Rich
I WILL somehow try and prove mine's a UK though. LOL.

Come on now, we all know that as Rich was the organiser he also bribed Well Lane, was'nt this the reason for Kevin to leave cos he felt so embarassed about the scam..
Bob - I dont know if I was actually holding up to 1.27bar - given that we played with the Actuator afterwards.
I'm gonna see if I can get in another day with Well Lane and ask for runs in 4th and 5th as the car has more boost in 5th - but as people have said thats not what its just about - will be interesting to see the differnce though - if any - the WI should aid the equation.
Then I'll have a go at PowerEngineering - if its not doing much above 6000rpm, which it was'nt last time then the problem with a lack of power has to be the turbo..... - then again the car feels so much quicker than it was standard, which is all that counts to me at the end of the day - just a shame that the Dyno's runs dont equate to the cars increased performance on the road
Ideally I need to be doing a back to back with Bob to compare! as we have everything the same except the Turbo
ps - Rich - its about time you stopped faffing about and put a proper ECU on the car........ sell the other stuff and join the 'medium division' boys. You could get plenty more advance and reduce the boost and still see a nice increase in power. Dont bother with Water Spray, thats like a part way house again...
Mark and Pat are in the top league as far as performance goes - but then I dont fancy messing with 'Dog Boxes'.... - is there any other solution?

Steve,
I'm just waiting for delivery of an uprated syncro gear set to test. I'll let you know if it holds up......
