nar, thats the only combination i wouldnt go for.stick to the 2.0l block with the 2.5l crank or just the 2.0l.

Yeah i know mate, but at least i know where they are for when i split the sti motor, this is just a practise run on the knackered wrx motor. I can now understand why a rebuild costs from 2K lots of man hours and things that can't be re used.

 

At least wi arf's welding skills you can re-use that snapped rod lol

Bearings don't appear to have spun but rod bolts weren't as tight as the other one so i think they stretched a wee bit.
