One annoying discovery from today is some strikethrough on the driverside door. You can see it in the last picture as a dull marking just below the door mirror. This is a small strip where the clearcoat is completely gone and the raw steel-blue colour beneith is exposed. God knows how it happened, because I have never been near this car with a machine polisher. I guess this is one of the disadvantages of giving a car a thorough clean...you find and highlight the bad bits

Sold today for £1750. Chuffed to bits at that price and happy to get such good value for it before it crumbled away to nothing. Mechanically it is sound as a pound and looks really good so the new owner should get a lot of good motoring out of it.
We paid £3900 3.5 years ago, did 42,000 fault free miles in it and sold it for £1750. This is officially my best value vehicle to date.
