reverse scoop

It is a custom jobbie made by myself, but I am going to get some reproduced in the near future.
Maybe a group buy could be set up to see how much interest there is out there before I decide how many to get made.....

all i can say is i have the rcm reverse one fitted to mine, the people that know me will tell you that it gets plenty of fast road use and track use aswell, and its running 2bar of boost with a mahoosive gt35/42 turbo.i havnt had any probs with high temps yet even when running it through the summer when the outside temps were over 30deg.

no i dont have an underbonnet temp gauge, but i do have an oil temp+water temp and if both of them are reading normal then thats good enough for me.obviously when its a really hot summers day i get the boost gauge reading a little lower but thats pretty normal anyway as it used to do it on my other car with the proper scoop fitted.just out of interest though if someone wants to lend me an sti8 scoop then i will buy a temp gauge and fit it under the bonnet,so that a back to back test of both the scoops can be done.it will be interesting to see if there is a difference in the two.

I am looking into getting these produced at the moment, but may take a short while to get them sorted.
I will update this thread and also put a thread up myself as and when they are in production...
Neil.
