Agree with your actual point tho - relgion should have no influence on the laws and rules this country abides by. Things should be based on fact and reason, not myth and tradition.
I do find it entertaining that you attribute 'extreme Left wing views' to ME!

In reality I am far more anti hard left wing politics that right

Seems to me the Catholic church have Hobson's choice. Their membership is decreasing, particularly in more hedonistic countries such as ours where shoreing up their membership apparently involves embracing changes that are contrary to what they've been preaching for God knows how long (he really does you know). Would it not be somewhat hypocritical to promote/accept the use of condoms now, they aren't a political party changing policy depending on which way the wind is going are they?
And suggesting all Catholics (or at any rate all priests) are kiddie-fiddlers is frankly ridiculous. The vast majority of Catholics (including priests) are as likely as appalled by that as most everyone else; the spotlight is on them and they just haven't dealt with it very well.

I don't happen to be religious in any way so don't worry too much about it, but I dare say your average Catholic (or indeed religious person) is more 'decent' in the way they behave than the rest.

Pmsl @ "donation" lining the vatican's already overflowing pockets with even more of already scarce money because "god told you to do so" . Out of date dinosaurs (don't mention them lol). Why the British people have to pay 12 MILLION for this supporter of rape, child molestation anti condom wearing ***** (sic) is downright disgusting IMO. That money should be going toward all these cuts to education, policing etc. Not happy.

So you can be a child rapist, but you can't be gay?

I thought it was the choir boys who the priests enjoy abusing. Which would make them gay and rapists...

Maybe two wrongs make a right
