ADVICE NEEDED ABOUT WHEEL CLAMPING PLEASE

had a similar problem a few years ago, the car was on my drive when it was clamped, baliff was an ******* about it all i ripped the clamp off, they called the police, police got into there usual intimidating routine i bashed the cops (id just finnished a nightshift and wasnt up for this ****) a van came and they all piled on me and draged me up the cop shop, when there they then asked whats this all about i said a parking ticket and they had kittens that all this had happend cause of a parking ticket, bailed me went to court the majistrate told the cops to drop 1 of the assualt charges at it made them look bad and jailed me for 4 months in Wandsworth nick
pay the ticket this **** realy does get out of hand very quickly

nah i wont let things get that far and i am sure you wnet down cos you started fight with the filth, also no one saw the clamp be moved and if anyone gets it then it wil be the bayliff

my mates scooby has been clamped as he forgot to pay 1 parking ticket when his mrs was giving birth and now apparently the baliff company want £400, ticket fine, interest and the clamping fee
Anyway i am just about to pop over and help him take it off without damageing the clamp, is this illegal? also what do we do with the clamp once its off?
would appreciate any advice asap as dont fancy a night in the cell
