my blob welds holding up ok for now well what can i say about today.firstly it couldnt have rained any more if it fekkin wanted to.next time i will take my wellys with me.i did a few runs on the track but with r888's on i could have walked it quicker,so i had a go on the strip.big mistake,first run spinning all over,second run lost control and ended up in the other lane,third run not bad fourth run totally lost it,did a 360 at god knows what speed and ended up on the grass which at the time i just thought yes i'm glad my window was half down so inside the car and my face was covered in grass.so after that little incident i thought it was high time to call it a day and go clean out my pants as they were starting to smell just a little.

 

Top day again, some great sliding about action. That was a cracking spin down the strip Arf, thought you andt car were a gonner. Bez cant believe you broke it againYou can borrow one of my trophies if ya want lol

 

kin ell Arf, looks like i missed all the action, only saw your first run and with the way it was snaking up the strip i thought you would have given it up as a bad job there and then, weather was discracefull but it was good to meet up with you all again.

 

i probably would have given it up as a bad job,if only i had half a brain.
dispite the weather it was a good laugh.bez,hope the damage to the car int to bad mate.

Soddin typical that, I leave early cos the only thing keeping me warm was the coffee I spilt on me shoes and bloody miss all the action!

well i bottled it when i saw the weather this morning and stayed nice and toastie at home

tbh i was so wet and cold that i was bosting for a **** and thought instead of make my way to the toilets i may as well just do it in my jeans were i stood,atleast it would have kept me warm for ten minutes.

I'v lernt so much today about driving fast in the rain, But I started by learning how to drive slow in the rain, driving in wet conditions is easy, driving when its raining like it was to day was a compleat new expeariance, tyres, tyres with tred. I'v never been so scared driving in a straight line, 5th gear 108mph spinning the wheels,
as For Arf spinning the car, looky looky man.
no one got injured, so thats good,

again well done Tez.

i had few goes up the strip today and i must say spinning the weels at 90mph certainly gave me a fright especialy when it was my first time on a drag strip

 

any news on ya car bez,hope it is only a driveshaft failure and nothing more serious.

Went straight to the hospital with her, lights flashing all the way,
Rolled her straight into the waiting area, been having some diagnostic treatment today, been told she will have to stay in for a few nights, we think it might be a broken drive shaft, but could just be a sprained cv joint, hopfully nothing internal, with a bit of look she will be home, have a few days rest, going to treat her to some new boots, & give her a good drink of V POWER with a bit of METH for her sore blue cough, all been well should be good to go to Cadwell reabilitation camp on Monday, hopefully some of her friends will be able to visit on the day.
