Anyone come across the tw@ts selling FW1 waterless cleaner at Shell service stations recently?
Had one come bouncing along offering to clean a bit of the car as a demo.
Told him not to go near the car.
He started spouting on about how FW1 was "a new product and it didn't need any water blah blah blah."
Told him not to go near the car.
I then pointed out waterless cleaners have been around for decades and you could buy that cr@p on ebay.
He didn't go near my car
Maybe pointing the petrol pump nozzle at him at the time had some effect !

Also, the latched petrol pumps are a fire risk. If you hold the pump, you are always earthing yourself so the car, the pump and you are at the same electrical potential (voltage). If you let go, charge your self up by walking around, sliding on and off the car seat and then come back and grab the handle, you could discharge your static charge and ignite the vapour escaping from the tank.

I have a little split pin on my key ring that will push the the holes in the handle, re-enabling the lock. Simples
Most petrol stations in Thailand have attendants who do it all for you, while you wait in the car, most civilised

I just wipe my hand on a rag after, and don't even use a hand gel!
