Sony pulled the plug? Such a pity that is to hear. ASA have passed on my complaint too Think an email to O2's PR department may also be called for.
Their second apology is a little more heartfelt and better worded than the orginal one with its "oh, well we live and learn" throw-away comments, which didn't acknowledge the realisation or implication of their actions....Seems sponsors pulling out has changed their tact somewaht. Maybe the money is of importance afterall.
Funny that, Greenies driven by money....Sponsors funding their carefree yet "upper-yet-middle-class" lifestyle? Surely not!

I've finally decided how I'm going to do my bit
I'm going to put every ecomentalist I encounter out of my misery
Removing their carbon emmissions entirely should offset mine nicely

If you speed up the release of gasses which warm / pollute the planet by a factor of 10, is it really any supprise that there might be a few issues.
If you cut down the trees which help remove some of those harmfull gasses en mass, and then release 1000 years worth of storage of those gases within a couple hundread years, could you not see how there might be a few problems.
I've found people will do any manner of things to discredit someones arguement so that they dont have to take responsibility for their actions, why would it be any different on a global scale, when there are trillions of $ to be made.

Perhaps people should write to other big sponsors at their disgust of backing an organisation that portrays extermination of humans as an acceptable solution to the opposition of these environmentalists?
Heres one for starters http://www.kyoceramita.co.uk/index/a...ta_and_10.html

Exactly; If it was Monty Python or South Park, one could see the funny side as they only represent themselves and are impartial as they have no agenda other than for sakes of entertainment. But when its produced and published by a eco-"charity", one has to consider their motives and responsibilty for the people they represent and if the video is reflective of the image they want to portray.
Anyone have a proper email address for Kyocera and O2's Public relation and media/marketing departments?

Franny Armstrong is the founder of 10:10 and states that "only 5 people have been "killed" in the making of that video compared to 300,000 real people dying each year due to climate change."
Her figures most likely based on research reported here:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle6387208.ece
Though the people who carried out the study do acknowledge that there is a "significant margin of error" in its estimates!!!!

ASA rejected my complaint as regs concerning viral/internet ads are not set to be implemented fully until March next year. Booo. (why the hell their website lists it in their complaints form seems somewhat contradictory though ).
Oh well, at least it put some of my tax money in getting a Quango to scratch its **** and sniff its fingers instead of dishing it to some benfit scroungers instead. And the non-eco-ness of the two page letter they sent me makes me somewhat smug; Few more chopped trees and some extra CO2 from postman pat's van.

I've come to realise that trying to get people to see why the 'eco nonsense' is based on fact is like trying to convince a devout christian that God doesnt exist. No matter how many facts and figures you put in front of them, they are incapable of accepting the truth.
