I never told anyone to f*** off and resent being called a '****' for not sitting back and letting you abuse yet another member just because you didn't think they had asked a good question. I'm not alone in feeling like this, other members have posted similar comments in different threads.
I have never tried to launch an attack on anyone on this forum, instead I have been trying to defend people who have been on the other side of an abusive message, in this case, from you. But instead of talking it through like a pair of adults you decided just to hurl more abuse at me. Which confirms my point to begin with!
As I put in a deleted post, you do make a lot of useful comments on this board and most of the time you are no doubt an appreciated member of the community, you just need to stop the abuse and negative comments just for the sake of it then i'm sure we can begin to get on.
Scooby drivers are already coming down with a bad 'chav' reputation, ignorant and abusive posts just confirm that impression.
I have no further comments to make on this matter and won't post on this thread again. I suggest you do the same.
You are a pompous self-important nobody wilb. Id suggest that you reserve your pius lectures for the children that you teach, you I presume are more easily impressed.

*Your suggestion that I am a charver makes me smile. When I consider that you come from Barnsley and drive a Saxo, I dont think that youre in a position to look down on anybody...*

Again, you prove my point.
I did 'say something then', and I don't believe I was 'showing off'. I suppose you consider me a 'nobody' because I only registered a few months back and don't have a post count as high as you??? Well congratulations mr cyber-celebrity.
Oh and as you've been doing a bit of research, Sheffield/Barnsley practically next to each other and I used to drive a Saxo, so what??? I got rid of it for my WRX. Make sure you get your facts right.
For those of you reading this I apologise for dropping once again to his level. I'm bored of this guy now and can't be bothered wasting my time replying any further to this thread.

No you didnt wilb; you ignored his insulting me because it suited you to criticise me for my reply. You then spent quite a long time looking for a post to substantiate your accusation and you lied about that.
It amuses me wilb, that youre so vain that you simply must have the last word.....

WRX is the Japan version of the uk Turbo its just a model name.
IMPREZA MEANS= is a coined word, deriving from an originally Italian word, impresa, meaning a badge or motto. In Polish, "Impreza" also means to celebrate, or party.
SUBARU MEANS= is the Japanese word for "unite" and for the star cluster Pleiades that is depicted in the company logo. The Pleiades (also known as the Seven Sisters) has seven stars visible to the naked eye. The Subaru logo's six stars represent the five companies that came together after World War II to form one large company.
STI= Subaru Tecnica International
RA=race altered

WRX = World Rally Cross ( as X is a Cross)
I also wonder why they did not use WRC for World Rally Cross on Impreza but the WR-X worked awell.
I may be wrong but i have heard this a few times.

I have heard a couple of more credible explanations for the acronym. Firstly World Rally International (where X is used as an abbreviation, as in LAX: Los Angeles International Airport). Secondly: World Rally Experiment, where X represents the phonetic... We are making a mistake in looking into the name too deeply though. The Japanese use our language in an unusual manner; just look at some of their popular model names and other feature acronyms.
Im confident that World Rally Cross is a nonsense though.
