I would go for an HP Notebook with Intel i5-540, 4GB memory and 320GB HDD and dedicated Graphics. 14" to 15.6" HD+ resolution and integrated WWAN Modul (SIM card) if possible.

One word DELL. If I wast to buy a new Laptop, and it is looking that way now, I would look at getting a DELL and if you want to use it with an exisiting Monitor/Keyboard and Mouse look to invest in a docking station for it.

Quick up date folks.

Thanks for all your help and advice! Ive Managed to get work to buy it me. Told em the basic spec it should be so who knows what I'll get. Can't grumble with it being free.
