went for the onkyo 308 with Canton Movie 60cx 5.1 speakers they even came with wall brackets (winner ), sounded good and are also small, which she wanted.
As my Qa 1010i's are a better sound, but so much bigger.. but I've the Onkyo 607 running them.

So for her an entry level 308Amp will be fine. nothing to complicated lol

Now thinking they need a better stand, as the one dad has won't look right.

anyone know a good place for 50" plasma stands that can also hold the Amp, Sky box, bluray player andthe centre speaker?
googled stands and a lot of companies all look like they have the same stuff, sho any recommendations what would look good without spending £££'s

I looked around for a while and ended up buying one for £50 delivered off Amazon. Holds my 42" plasma, wii, sky hd box, yamaha av amp, sony blu ray, sony hifi amp and cd player.

Re: Screen burn on modern plasma is a myth spread by LCD owners. I left mine paused with the ps3 on it for 3hrs by mistake once and nothing at all.
