The way I'm going, I wont be making it either. I've spent the last 2 days trying to rectify running problems, either its hesitation under load or idle problems.

If I do make it and run the risk, I'll meet you at Merthyr.

Not looking promising for me either i am afraid gents. It was always going to be a matter of cash flow after Christmas and it seems blowing 60 bucks, at least, cannot be justified

Scooby ownership can be a real love/hate thing sometimes with the government putting the thumb screws on!!!!!

I may still pop along all the same but not for the full hog, lets see how it goes

Likewise taylor(sorry didn't get ya first name!) good to you and some other new faces (new to us anyway!) got poor old max to do some vids on the blacks etc but but they're a bit twitchy as he was trying his best to keep holt of the "**** me" handle!!!Just aswell we finished when we did, think my last rev-limiter bouncing blast back into trecastle fromm the range finished my exhaust gasket for good!!
Thanks for organising again Ty, had a grand day, and hope the motor is sorted soon.
cheers guys

Good to meet up with everyone, it was a superb route. Had one hell of a headache when I got back, not sure it that was from hitting my head a few times on the roof or from the exhaust

Took over an hour of video. Got a nice shot of Dylan demonstrating how to pull out of a junction rally style, also Richie showing us the new alternative 3 point turn

Well yesterday started off sh*t and got worse the further the day went on.

I hope that I wasn't too bad company Rich, and sorry for not being able to give you a lift home but it was lucky in the end that Dylan was able to give you a lift home.

It looks like I just have a air lock in the coolant system but it's proving to be a real bitch to remove, I lost patience in the end today trying to sort it. At one point today I wish I'd left the car up on the ranges for target practice.

Thanks to Dylan for putting up with my text messages today.

Refill your water/coolant via the turbo water supply hose from the header tank, this allows the entire system to displace any air via the header/radiator.
I use the same method on my car and works everytime without any issues with airlocks.

I tried in vain to bleed the airlock out but failed miserably, so I'm off to see Dylan on Saturday morning for him to sort it out for me.

Well it never got close to overheating thankfully, I'm 100% sure it just needs bleeding out, I've checked the oil and water and there is no contamination in either.
