I had a loose hose clip on the top radiator hose, when I opened the header tank to top up the coolant level the air must have got into the system.

Not yet, it's still spewing out the coolant into the expansion bottle.

Good news is that its not the head gaskets, we did a hydro carbon (sniffer) test this afternoon and all is well with that side of things.

I'm going to order a new set of caps to eliminate them or hopefully find the fault.

Dylan must have bled the system about ten times.
