My Mum. Admittedly she wasn't a great artist but a few things she did were good. I have one of my favourites on my study wall.

Dunno....

But I quite like it and it would go well in our front bedroom.

Without wanting to sound like a **** (but managing to in one sentence) I don't think art has to be representative of anything to be art. Each to their own I guess - wouldn't it would be boring if we all liked the same stuff?

I buy anything I like the look of. I met this woman on the Dingle Peninsula, I stood for ages memorised watching her paint without any photos or reference material - just off the top of her head so to speak.

Carol Cronin - http://www.carolcroninpainter.com/se...=detail&id=315

Also met this lady in the same place June McIntyre http://www.dingleartworks.com bought some of her stuff mainly because it was scenes of the places we had visited on our first honeymoon,

I am a particular fan of his interpretation of Thrust SSC, which I've shamelessly ripped off to show you here.

Pretty cool eh?

I'll, erm do my own me thinks when I have time.

Out of all the comission pieces I've done for members on here, other forums etc, I've only ever drawn one of my own cars to hang up

I should be charging £300 for my bloody work

I've read an article about him recently (Classic Rock mag IIRC) some debate as to if he influenced James Cameron for Avatar.

Bought a book in the mid-80's about him and his artwork. It was very technical for it's day and he was very inventive with an airbrush and layering of colours.

I bought an Osibisa album just because of the cover. I am sure the Beeb did a documentry a while ago about the whole prog rock thing.

THIS is SCOTT WADE. Check out what he does with the dirty cars by carefully and artfully removing portions of the dirt. According to his web site, he lives really close to a dirt road in San Marcos , Texas ....
