My Xantia goes at 80-90 on French motorways, it does the 570 miles from Zeebrugge in 9 hours, and average speed of just over 60mph, not bad when 100+ miles of it is on French N roads, rated at 56mph, and we have three stops, two for coffee and toilets, one for a snack.
Bl**dy boring, though, once you've done it more than ten times. I hanker for the main roads, 2-300 miles a day and a stop in a small town hotel at night. French cooking, with a washing-up-bowl full of soup for your first course.

70 for me , despite all and sundries people carriers bouncing along at 87
toll roads , except for trying to avoid anything to do with Paris - which in hindsight was a mistake

The N10 upto Bordeaux has to be the worst part of the trip, totally straight, totally dull, and nothing to see except felled trees and marshland.
On at least on one of trips I hope to space it out a bit more and try some other routes. I quite fancy going via the Millau suspension bridge, but the tolls of going that way (including Spain) will be horrific. Unless I take the D-roads which fine until you hit one full of slow traffic.
Anyway; Your Xantia has a 65 litre tank, I have to make do with 55 litres and a pessimistic fuel gauge.

We went the millau viaduct route on our way from Carcasonne to Dijon in early march , quite spectacular on entry ( took some pics of the structure ) - but you see nothing of the valley below once on it . Quite intresting landscape around about - you might call it minimal
