Sods law - probably true... and then another year to find all the new engine destroying features they've introduced to the new design e.g. the 30kg of weight they saved is probably from the pistons, rods, crank, intercooler, gaskets etc..

You may be right Axel they may do one, amazing what they havenup there sleeves

I've let the garage know that they can approach me with new cars if the deals right I just draw then line at 50 k cosworths 35tops me out

I did actually look at a civic type r, as well as the scooby in 2008....... on and focus ST's

figured 4 x 4, shade faster--- better car. been pleased with it. but then again petrol wasn't 1.20 a litre.

also day to day servicing, tax, ins are terrible- and I'm an old bugger AND I can afford it, just resent parting with the brass.

thank god for having a diesel car in the household.

its all very well claiming my car is X faster than yrs, but reality is a dull commute to work etc.

unless yr chaving it up on a night screaming around hsg estates.



I admire you for buying a new car- its nice and different. but the miser in me would have given it 12 mths to depreciate first.
