Looks like they are reintroducing the mica colours that were last seen on the bug. Looks good, but I actually prefer the hatch in the current shape - the boot is almost an afterthought very much like the escort/orion quandary from all those years ago![Whatever Anim](images/smilies/Whatever_anim.gif)
All the same, it's your money and as long as you are happy, enjoy it

Littleted, It would be good to hear your views on it after owning it a few weeks. From what I've seen it has come a long way since the hawkeye (which I currently own). It seems alot better built and much more up to date. I still love the rawness of mine (compared to other cars, not classics as I know they where pure raw!), and it would be intersting to know if the new one has lost any rawness and the ability to make anyone who hasnt been in one before c**p them selves
, through being better built?.

Very nice car mate, ignore the haters ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
I love the classics but agree that we also need to move with the times.....
F1 fan....surely as a fellow Impreza owner/club member you should encourage other members?
Leave the negative Banter and Jealousy for the school playground son

AFetr driving 100miles today, and being in the WRX-S before the feeling is great.
Obviously im biased only got it yesterday But as you said, most scoobies are RAW my old WRX-S was, ok seats a gear stick and not much else.
With what they have done here leather everywhere on doors in middle, and the black dash it feels more like a company car should, the rawness slightly diluted.
I still aint got used to the I settings feels like im driving a VAN put ya foot down and it moves but as though the turbos been stolen
although the MPG is nice at the moment.
Flick to sharp and boom, infact i kept the revs the same and switched and the car setoff so you can see the map working.
Stereo is great and the handsfree is mega,
ROB my blackberry didnt drop in 1 hr on the m1, BUT ive spoken to IM and mentioned yours and mine dilemma in the system supported 3.1 IOS and Adrian was gonna ring me back.
Pop a call in m8 also maybe make them move a bit quicker.
As i explained 905 of the UK are on IOS4 now for Iphone thus it wont work VIA the USB
The USB slot does take my FAT usb Keys so breat for BULK mp3s infact all i,ll use really.
Seats are great but you 330s owners know what im talking about, keeps the muffin top safe.
Over all after a massive 36hours, i like it, lots of people commenting its looks ok, some say wheres the WING but overall good responce.
Although i shouldnt have i did spank it once and yes very quick,
Suspension is hard and more bumpy that WRX-S but very like on rails.
Unsure how much them dunlops cost but i bet not cheap

All the Escort Cossie owners I've met are greasy haired geeks who spend all day ironing their RS shirts...
A car that has not aged well...bit like the Classic come to think of it...![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
I like the colour Ted...get some dark alloys on it and de-badge it... needs no more....apart from a remap to get it 100% of course..

Enjoy the car Ted, it's good to see Subaru owners keeping the faith.
Just one thing, watch out in your mirror for a pearl white WRX-S, you know the car with 'ok seats a gear stick and not much else' and then admire its prodrive polished quad tail pipes.

Yeah nothing wrong with liking different things, but calling an icon like the Escort Cossie shyte is blasphemy and like your chosen vehicles shows a lack of taste.

Wonder what your hatches will be worth in 20 years time?

I really like the 2011 saloon, having been at the launch event at Keith Price Garaged I was pleasantly surprised at how good the 4 launch cars looked. ![Cool](images/smilies/cool.gif)
In fact the hatch has grown on me as well especially in white
, we all have our own taste in cars and if when I bought my first Impreza, a Hawkeye WRX I was looking for a 'good looking' car I have gone for an Evo 8. ![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)
I then changed that for a JDM Bugeye S202 and my current Impreza a JDM Blobeye Spec C, I have to be honest though that classics apart from a 22B do nothing for me, and the only reason I'd go for a 22b would be for it's rarity value.![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
I can see me getting a hatch or a saloon but probably a JDM model in the next couple of years.![Cool](images/smilies/cool.gif)
Good luck to the OP with your new car and don't worry about the negative comments from some individuals as when I owned an S202 people called it fugly but that's only because they were jealous.

Thanks Canon, Its quite amazing how many people dont know that Subaru have released a saloon again,
Today i drove from Leeds to Chesterfield and i counted 7 Thunbs up from Van drivers Lads in cars etc, im not being biased here in fact its getting quite embarrasing as i cant pick my nose without people giving it the once over.
I think people will warm to it over time, They will i hazard release some special with large wing and lower springs of which will draw the old school guys in.
I agree with you also, although im unsre what models looks like what my 2 favorite old school cars are the 22b and the model the RB320 came in.
P.S
I keep going on about havingthe car in I mode and it being Flat ( obviously its for motorway driving ) But it feels so bad its like driving a diesal Civic Q Lewis :P
