I'd just leave it in sport if I were you.
I know exactly what you mean about I mode being a bit dead.

Its weird cos many moons ago i had a VXR and that has the sport button, which i think is like between our Sport and Sport #

I suppose subaru need to come up with something to at least save us a **** hair of fuel.

Also that econemy Light doenst work on S only , not that you can see the facker

Economy light - that stupid triangle thing?

I've had the 330S for about 8 months and I can't really see much difference between fuel consumption in "I" mode and sport.

i mode is a total waste of time imho...why buy an STI if you want to drive it in neutered mode? why not just buy a WRX...makes no sense.

I've noticed that normal driving in s mode the boost rarely climbs above 0.2-0.5bar anyway...

You got gauges or something Kyle?

What's your peak boost in S#?

yep, got defi amber racers (see gallery)

Peak is reading 1.4bar but I've had in on good authority that Defi's read 0.1bar high and Duncan mapped it to peak at 1.3bar

The only use it had was to take a friend out...nail it in i mode then switch to s# and watch their face..... but since the mapping issue came to light (and duncan saying it wasn't a great idea either) even that use has been lost!

I is in fact quite dangerous at roundabout cos i setoff and im gauging the openings to my WRX-S which is like sports sharp.

For me once i work out the Fuel, i,ll do as you do s or even s# for round town and I for the M1

motorway makes no difference what mode you're in Ted...

turbo stays in vacuum (unless you're accelerating) so fuel mix identical.

Will the hatch be deleted from the range or is the saloon an addition to the range?

thank you m8.

I like it as the seats dont hurt my back, it ached like mad in my old one, must be the way they hug my flabby sides.

Looks better Clean, and i was impressed on the way home, I setoff from Aldershot with the needle on the white bar below full so in theory it had started to creep downwards.

I made leeds and still had nearly a 1/3 tank.

I tested I drive S# etc and it makes no real differance to what it drinks, as above as long as u dont kane it itll be ok.
And sharp was much better for quick overtakes etc, so much more fun.

I drive needs banning total waste of time.

OOO and another thing unsure if anybody else noticed this but in the 2008 >>> and WRX-S the Aircon was ****, it was either blowing cold or youd ne sat in ya underpants.

Well the new one is great sits around 21 and feels like my old Audi yipeee

I know some have commented on the poor aircon before may only be some of you though some may have good uns

Will you still need that bumper skin when you've sorted the tooling etc?
