wondering - showing curiosity; "if someone saw a man climbing a light post they might get inquisitive"; "raised a speculative eyebrow"

tool

One who lacks the mental capacity to know he is being used. A fool. A cretin. Characterized by low intelligence and/or self-steem.

So, help me understand who the tool is here?
You should learn how to use a dictionary correctly - what you have written is the phonetic pronounciation and not the spelling of the word.

won·der·ing (-iŋ)
adjective
feeling or showing wonder

So in answer to you question about who is a tool - simple..........you are (and a blunt one at that)

Just wondering what the reason for that may be?

1) Social Upbringing (or lack of)

3) ???....

Oh gosh you really are a moron.

Wander and wonder are two completely different words. They are not the phonetic pronunciation of a homonym, they are homophones.

The OP clearly just doesn't agree with some of the subjects discussed on NSR.

IMO NSR is an excellent forum - a very wide spectrum of people are regular users, and this makes for some great debates. The mod's do a great job of keeping things in line, but allowing debates to take place even if the subject is not something deemed politically correct or is maybe a bit of a taboo subject.

Long live Scoobynet NSR!!

The first should have been 'wander' so you are correct.

Ooops!

Not to worry. It's very, very rare I'd get something like that right. So much so I was doubting myself as I typed.

I'll take my punishment - I really couldn't believe you were challenging the spelling of 'wondering'.

I still don't get your comment about phonetics though!

With his confusion of wandering with wondering the troll is sure no linguistic wunderkind.
