Back to the original question...

go for it mate. It'll be one more classic ruined and therefore help the values of the cars that are owned by those of us with decent taste

I tried that last weekend Ginge. He just comes back with a bigger shovel and digs a bigger hole.

He says he has done full builds but can't give a spec or details on how he has got 380bhp on a 20g. A lot of billy from where i stand.

hes obv young and excited about hes car and wants to be taken serious which can be hard over the internet, let him settle and you never know he may end up with the next silly stage engine and start to put subarus back in the serious market of performance cars like Evos

though,,,,, hes gonna have to sell that shed of his first pmsl

yeah,,,,, remove the barge boards unless they flip down and revel 50calibre anti tank guns

try to be different without going TOOO far, subtle mods as lets be honest,,,,,, subarus already look like they was designed by halfords to most people who dont appriciate how well they drive as cars

dont help when the lads from the council estate has a classic wagon with his 2 pet staffs in the boot and his missus wearing tracksuit and fake UGG's and clown necklace in the passenger seat ( and thats just me driving the missus to get her Giro)

Nothing wrong with being individual, but a clean and subtle looking classic Impreza is starting to turn heads for the right reasons these days. Keep it simple looking and it'll earn respect IMO.

i know where your coming from , i bought this one as it looked different to all my others with the big kit, but now im growing board of it so i had a rush of blood and went a bit daft and started looking at the decals for it, think im gonna whip off those skirts and re assess the situation,.

Makes me sad when I see people like this, with a half decent base scoob crying out for some subtle, well chosen mods with potential.

And what do they do ?

Ignore the useful or important things that make a scoob a great car to drive and instead concentrate on silly graphics, crap body kits and stuff that costs little and looks ****e. Personal taste aside and ignoring your budget, surely even someone with a modicum of common sense would see that less is more and your money could be better spent on making it either faster, safer or more involved to drive.

I like it.

The more that end up like this, the greater the value of my clean, standard P1.
