It's BS, they exist to project/perpetuate the political power of their elites who are arm in arm with Iran. It's more to do with the political dynamics of Lebanon than some mythical noble fight against Israel.
Same with Hamas. Why once peace is close do they bomb/kidknap/rocket Israel again? Because if there was peace they would be of no use to the Palestinian people, they would be OUT of power.

Why wouldn't I ? I'm rich thanks to my 500 per week housing benefit the 800 per month child benefit for my ten kids and my 400 per week in tax credits and disability allowance. I have saved up enought to buy a whole village in my native land and will retire there when I have milked the benefits system of the uk dry.

You choose to live here over 3rd world alternatives. If they are havens of moral behavior and decency then why not move there?

Both Lebanon and the Pally territories have lots of surplus young men w/ not much else to do but be recruited to serve Hezzbollah/Hamas elites.
Hezzbollah, Hamas only fight a limited war, it's a conflict which could go on for 1000 years and you would have no victor....it's the whole point of their existence. These are organisations (with elites) who have no other purpose but to 'fight Israel' - w/out Israel they would be nothing and their elites probably cleaning toilets for a living.
Can't you see how these elites get power by posturing against Israel is this stupid theatrical 'world historical' clash? They play the heros to the people and convince them it is good and necessary to kidnap IDF soldiers and fire rockets to provoke and whip up the conflict to 'prove' Israel is a threat. Absurd. "support us or Israel is going to kill you". It's dysfunctional local politics, meanwhile the Pally economy depends on aid and Lebanons on Iranian handouts.

To get back on topic. Its the EU, so that means European, does it not. Why any one would want to join this crap club is beyond me. Oh, I just realised only two COuntrys out of the whole f*cking lot are ney contributors, one of those being the UK.
So if the Country is not in Europe (all of it) and doesnt meet the requirements then they shouldnt join. Its about the handouts I suppose.

so the people are so thick they have to give them money????
the pkk for example are fighting for a land in turkey they go to local shops and say give us money we are fighting in the mountains to get land back. or give us money to protect u they hustle local kursish/ Turkish shops for money and if they don't pay then there is consequences.
but the government of Iran, the people of lebanon and Palestine they offer to help by donating money to hissballah or Hamas willingly.
it's the same way we paytaxes to help America take oil from Iraq they make a profit of it but me and you lose friends and family. and we pay for it via taxes.

there is a lot of banter on that thread so I just joined in, what am igetting judged when there's other people instigating it. and all I stated was facts go to google and look it up.
Loyalty is a string word yes I am as appreciate the education and health care I received but believe me 12 years of work the tax I've paid will more than cover that.
I love the uk that's why I'm still here I have had job offers in Dubai but I'm still here as I have loads family and friends here. I just don't like there policy on war and that's my opinion " fix your house before looking at someone else is"

Scapegoating? Need for theater/catharsis in absense of cultural outlets?

Has anyone ever noticed that casual racism and ignorance seem more focused in the north of England than the south, is this a by product of the north south financial divide or are northeners just a bit thick ?

Of course Iran give willingly, it's part of their broader strategy to become regional hegemon and of course the theater of the Pallies vs Israel plays well at home with their more feverant supporters.

i dont support any war on anyone...
war cost money and the war aint going to benfit me or you in any way. as british citizen i want better schools, shorter waiting list in hospitals safer streets. hense fix your home first...
better schools will educate the new generation,
better hospitals ive been waiting for knee reconstruction operation for nearly a year.
safer streets my brother was recently mugged at knife point.
the money thats waisted on war can benfit us all. thats why i dont agree with there policy on war.
MY DAD ALWAYS SAYS IF ANY COUNTRY COMES TO FIGHT THE UK THEN WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE UK NO MATTER WHO IT IS. AS THIS IS OUR HOME so if some random muslim country decides to occupy us then me and my family will die for this country. but for me to go and to another country @iraq@ and rob them for there resources that i refuse to support as its opression.
