Hey Les, have you got out of the wrong side of bed today?

Apologies and all that and I know how frustrating it is to try and avoid a race result or the likes so you can watch it later, but (and please don't take this the wrong way) clicking on a thread entitled Korean GP was always going to have a slim chance of containing some information about the race

Probably best not to read a "Korean GP whos up watching it then" thread.

I dislike Vettel but that was a harsh result for him. Alonso lucks out again. Out of the top five Id prefer the least for him to be champ.

Agreed, I don't want Alonso to win. If it's not one of the McLaren drivers then I guess Webber would be my next choice.

Lewis, Jenson, Webber, Vettel, Alonso is my choice but you cant help but feel there was a big momentum swing today.

Alonso was lucky to get the win but Lewis for 2nd after webber took Rosberg out.

Webber is my choice as he seems like a decent bloke and I doubt he will get the chance again.

To be fair tho les, if you didn't want to know the result then not reading a thread on the subject of the korean GP would have been a good start

Excellent race anyway - I spent the morning trying to avoid seeing the result, and then accidently caught a heading with the word 'Webber' in it so assumed he'd won - so got a shock when he went out! Think Alonso will win it now overall, as the RB's will probably get a 1-2 or 1-3 in the last races and take points off each other with Alonso still scoring.

Would like to see Webber claim the title tho.l

Red Bull should have had both titles totally sewn up, but they have shown a lot of naivety this season, particularly Vettel who seemed very calm today after his engine blew. I guess it lets him off the hook, it was my engine that robbed my championship, not my multiple poles that I threw away.

I bet Hamilton is kicking himself for going off and letting Alonso through.
Alonso would have run rings round him by lap 50..his tyres were no where near as trashed

Terrible day for Red Bull!
Understatement!

True, Alonso seemed to look after his tyres so much better than anyone else.

Not so much him as the car... the Ferrari is much easier on its tyres than the Mclarens and the Red Bulls. Massa's tyres were the same as Alonso's

So Trout, Button....Excuses???
That is exactly what I was talking about. The man can't drive around a difficult car. I will eat my words (again) if it is said his car was damaged.
To admit that he was slower than everyone else is just so painful to watch.

RB need to back Webber if they want a realistic shot at the title. Vettel is 24 points behind with only 2 races to go... no doubt if it was Webber who was behind and Vettel in front then they'd be backing him.

Webber is on a fairly fresh engine, Vettel only has old engines left.

On the other hand it would be good to see Webber take the title with the odds (and to an extent his own team...) against him, and then tell Helmut Marko where to shove it.

Totally agree - Webber is a real down to earth bloke.

Apart from the trouble with the black boy, what else has he done though?

Breaking the team orders rule, surely you can't pin that solely on Alonso.

Race fixing - when?
Bad mouthing the team - I'd say he's not alone there.

Race fixing??? Er.. Singapore ... or do you think he really knew nothing about it?

Bad mouthing his team ... for all his faults have you ever heard Schumacher do that?

You forgot the bribery bit.... probably the most unpleasant thing of all ... well maybe.

And the team orders thing... obviously he was not solely to blame, but the fact remains he has seven points he shouldn't have.

I would just prefer Webber to win.... would be a lot better for the sport.

Bad mouthing the team - no I don't recall Schumacher doing that.
But I believe Hamilton did?

Bribery - can't say much there
But the other stuff - too many unknowns to solely say it was him.

I'd prefer Webber to win over Vettel.
However - being a Ferrari fan I suppose means being a Ferrari fan and therefore I'd like Alonso to win.
However - just so long as its not Hamilton

Alonso never has an 'off day' does he? He is always on the pace, always faster than his team mate and he beat Mr Schumacher in 2006.

Alonso is the most complete driver in F1 and anyone who thinks otherwise has no idea!

Hamilton - very fast but makes mistakes at vital moments
Button - Can't drive around a bad car
Vettel - Hit & miss, although he is still super quick when he wants to be
Massa - Team mate to Alonso, so no chance
Webber - Not as quick as Vettel and for that reason, will never be No.1 at Red Bull
Schumacher - I will reserve judgement until next year
Kubica - 2nd only to Alonso in my opinion

If Vettel gets pole and leads after the first corner then he usually wins. If he doesnt start on pole or loses the lead then he makes too many mistakes imho. His attitude is a lot better recently and hes gone up in my estimation.

Alonso is just a mardy git plus Id prefer someone like Webber or Vettel to win their first title than for Alonso to grab number 3. I still dislike him after he threw his toys out of the pram at Mclaren for not being treated as number one and then outshone by Lewis in his rookie season.

I hope that Kubica gets Massa's car next season. Him or Rosberg would be awesome against Alonso but Rosberg stuck at Mercedes with the whole german thing going on.

Poor Alonso. The guy whose team mate lets him past for the win or crashes on purpose to get the safety car deployed. To me he was champ and expected everything at Mclaren to focus on him and him alone. When it didnt he spat his dummy out. If (and I really hope it doesnt happen) Alonso takes the title then I hope its by less than 7 points and the whole team orders thing comes back to discredit him.

I suppose it's a bit like asking a Man Utd fan why he doesn't want Arsenal to win the league, it's because he doesn't support that team.

Pretty much agree with you 100% here. I think Rosberg is quite an underrated driver and deserves a mention. He pretty much always thrashes his team mate whoever that is, and has had put in some very impressive drives, rarely making errors.

I really couldn't give a toss who wins to be honest. I suppose I would go with Webber 'cos he seems like a decent chap. Hamilton otoh comes across as a over competitive brat type with daddy issues.
