Do a bit of Googling and ask yourself why Ferrari dropped all the legal stuff in the end. Look I am not condoning what McLaren did, but there is a far bigger story playing out behind the scenes here. Put it this way... Dennis stepped down didnt he? Now who would have wanted that?

I know, i was just being slightly sarcastic, I dont know why but I get annoyed by Hamilton fan boys, I've got nothing against him but it goes hand in hand with the 'England are going to win the world cup' nonsense
Most Hamilton fans would probably argue he could give it a good shot in the Lotus, with a podium almost a garantee
FWIW Alonso and Hamilton would make an unstoppable team, but obviously its un-workable, if they were both driving for red bull this season the tilte would be LONG over

Just on this thread it clearly states I have followed Ferrari for over 35 years and reading any other of my posts it is not hard to realise I am, if anything, a Schumacher fan. To be honest I like watching good racing regardless of the team or driver.Anyway can't someone express an opiniion without being labelled a fanboy by somneone who has clearly demonstrated they have no real grasp of the intricasies of the sport even if you are now conveninetly dressing it up as sarcasm.

I am also a Schumacher fan and I am seriously struggling to see how you can back him and not Alonso when they share similar qualities, i.e. doing anything to win.

OK let's look at your tyres comment again. Do you dispute the fact that Jenson has on average this season been harder on his tyres than Hamilton? You can't as it's true... so why do you say that Hamilton is hard on his tyres.... ah yes because that is what was being said last year when they were able to change tyres more often due to refuelling. Last yeat he didn't have to manage his tyres, this year he does so he has. Just look at the facts and stop listenong to the crap spouted by the BBC commentry team.

Ok, I agree with you there. It is rare to find a fellow English Schumi supporter. As you say, Schumacher always praised the team and didn't like 'gifted' victories' when other cars fell off the track. Plus he put in so much testing time and built the team around him so well. I would place at least 50% credit to him for the Ferrari we have today.

You cant judge Schumacher on this season, hes still driving Buttons leftovers, wait till next when he has 'his' car, then we should see alot better from him

He's losing the "attitude" which can only be a good thing.
He's begininng to mellow his driving and within a couple of years without doubt he'll be good.
But, he's not the best - not yet anyway

The Ferrari car is kinder to its tyres than the McLaren - that has been the same all season so comparing Alonso to Hamilton in that respect is just biased nonsense. The Ferrari is also currently a much better car than the McLaren so not much surprise that Alonso is faster.
The only way you will really know is to put Alonso and Hamilton in the same team...... oh yes they did that and look how that turned out.
Oh and while no driver may be sqeakly clean none of them have scraped the bottom of the moral fibre barrel like Alonso

Your last point is a good one though. I said to someone half way through the season that it is not that Schamcher is that bad, it is just that Rosberg is bloody good.... and I still don't think people realise how good.
