Nobody can say that Hamfist is not ready. He was ready in 2007!
If you don't like somebody, fine, but stop deluding yourself Urban. I didn't like him at first, probably because I was jelous! Now though, I can clearly see how good Lewis is. He never gives up and apart from the two races this year, rarely make mistakes.

Who is this certain other person then that calls him "N word Joe"?
I am still curious why you found it necessary to mention his colour at all. What possible significance could that have in relation to his driving ability?

i agree, and never saw any reason to dislike him at any time.

Ive been watching f1 since the 1983 european gp and in that time missed 2 races! ( and yeah that was thanks to the wife!).

Anyway have to fully agree with you chris. I didnt like him also at the start because probably like you I was a tad bit jealous, but now have to admit he's a top rate driver, the best infact in my opnion. Highly rate vettel also.

Well some might see it like that.

At least you are honest anyway.

Referring to him as a "black boy" and then, when its highlighted backtracking and saying its "only a joke" is not really funny and only serves to make you look like his colour may have more to do with your dislike for him than anything else. I dont think its F1 fan that needs to "pipe down" really is it. As for commenting on attitudes...

Anyway, as for Hamiltons attitude I have to agree with Leslies comment, personally I think he has been a very good ambassador for the sport, often sharing the blame when it is clearly not his to share yet giving a lot of credit to the team when it has been mainly down to him, especially as his team mate is usually several places behind. Compare him to Alonso and his attitude and I begin to see why Urban is pro Alonso and anti Hamilton.

Sorry SR..I keep re-reading this last paragraph and I'm still confused as to what you mean... you sound like your praising Lewis..but then agree with Urban for being anti Hamilton...

Not agreeing, Im just saying that certain parallels are beginning to emerge that are helping me to understand why he supports who he supports.
