It's not me being grumpy - I genuinely thought "and... and so what" while watching some plum jiggle an RS from side to side at every crappy corner on what was (IMHO) a rather rubbish looking road....

I am all for using the whole road when the limit point allows you to.
But the limit point was way too close to be using the whole road in most of those bends.
RS was breaking sometimes in the right places, not allways.
His lines just went from just about OK ish to very very poor.
How well do they know the road?
If it was their first time down it way too fast
If they know it well - Poor effort

It is / was a fantastic bit of road but it really needs relaid as the tarmac is pretty poor over a lot of it. Had a few good runs over it over the years in various cars but the best was definately in a mates Lotus 211.

if you think that's a rubbish road, then i hate to think what is a good road to you.
Subaru were made for this type of road.
What do you consider to be a good road to drive? M25
