everyones missed one thing that needed a little bit of work, the massive oil leak on the rear diff, i know scoobs suffer with them but it didn't look good at all. as has been said saj got his moneys worth there and the strips were just plain wrong.

Words are failing me at the moment....
It has been confirmed though, Mike really doesn't know **** all about cars! Even ones with millions of pages worth of knowledge on the Internet about them.
30 MPG? Launching a new clutch? £450 for the alloys? FKIN LOL

I like this programme and think generally they do a good job on most of the older cars, but this episode was a major disappointment, why o why pick a bug eye Scoob, the most undesirable version ever made, then they chose some of the worst mods ever (the RS-R exhaust was fine), Viper stripes with their names on FFS!
They should have chosen a classic STi with a few bits that needed doing, perhaps even a classic Type R.
Ranks as the 2nd worst effort ever, the 1st being that VW Van with the vinyl wrap!
Best episode, the blue Citroen DS.

What nobody has mentioned yet, but I have read it perhaps on other forums is that the people who 'buy' the cars are not real punters at all. I think they are just part of the production team etc.
Have a look at any of the past episodes with that in mind and you'll soon know what I mean!

AH found it - it was an old post on here:
When they filmed the first couple of series of this it was next to Just Kampers warehouse in Odiham. At the time my mate worked at Just Kampers, I would go down every so often and watch them messing around etc.
Now for the spoiler bit!!
Just about every car "bought" on that show at the end was by a member of the production team or Just Kampers staff.
If you look at the old Merc project they did when they do an engine shot, if you get the chance pause it, there's a MASSIVE hole in the side of the block.
In reality a vast majority of the cars ended up sitting in the yard and rusting away or getting sold for £20 to scrap.
Ed was a local mad man around these parts for many years, He used to drive around Farnborough on double beds with engines in them, I think he had a motorised arm chair at one point too.
He built that massive shopping trolley for the Jackass movie.

Edd also has his own business, Cummfy Banana, hiring out his nutty creations, or using them for charity purposes:-

Also, some of the vehicles appeared in a race on an early Top Gear IIRC.
