Must just be me, but I'm not a huge fan.
It's all too chunky and fussy for my taste, but I can see the appeal. And like said, charms are easy future presents.
I'm more in favour of more individual, different jewellery if you like. Stuff you'd see if you were looking hard for it, but not expensive.
I'd far rather have a gift that some real thought went into that was my style, than something popular that imo is quite overpriced. That is no offence to people who like it, it's just not my cup of tea.

I just think they all look the same and you either like them or you don't (I don't but probably would if I was eighteen).

I used to have a toe ring, think I only wore it once. Probably something to do with the fact I hate my weird feet.
Most of my jewellery is silver (apart from engagement ring which is white gold). I don't really suit, or like yellow gold. For my taste, there is more available in silver and it's much more affordable. I have to be careful with costume jewellery as I often react to it.
It's probably a good thing my metal of choice is silver as I love jewellery (I like to have a fair bit so I can pick depending on my mood ) and it means it doesn't cost people alot as gifts.

But i think it's a bit of a marmite type of thing.
I'm funny about clothes. Most people like to buy clothes from highstreet stores, but I like to go to thrift shops and charity shops looking for vintage or retro prices that are still in fashion, but nobody else had them.

I didn't mean it to sound sarcastic/ bitchy. At eighteen I really wanted a gold charm bracelet (and see Pandora as the modern version) but my tastes have changed. I go through mad phases where I only want to wear silver and then it's gold, I love cheap costume jewellery....in fact that's why I'll never get a tattoo, I'm just too fickle
As has already been said the Pandoras are a fantastic marketing concept and I can see why people like them but I disagree that every woman would be pleased to get one, definitely marmite
