Does a modified WRX ever make an STi?

[quote=brendy76;9696503]Decoration fella, looks better than putting my own name on them. The WRX logos look crap in my opinion, unless you can show me different. Although I am thinking of replacing them with subaru stars like the classic genuine mudflap designs.[/q
Each to their own I suspose, cant see the point myself ,if I wanted a STI I would buy one...................you wouldnt buy a 1.2 corsa and badge it as a vrx

haha i would say new age wrx and sti are totally different but there isnt alot to differentiate classic versions of wrx and sti apart from forged pistons and some go faster skirts, bigger spolier, and possibly slightly stiffer suspension amd thats pretty much it. ....but i agree a Subaru WRX is still a WRX no matter what has been done to it, this is not a bad thing!
....Is an STI, still an STI though if someone puts a WRX engine in it?

Obviously its a modded WRX and always will be, Just like mine and to look at you couldn`t tell the difference from an sti apart from a 5 speed box if you look hard enough, You cant tell its a wrx but there is no need to go telling anyone thats its something its not, I for one am proud of my sti beating WRX!!!!
