I can ashore you that with the torque alone, it now has, and without the need to use its maximum revs., you will out pace the WR1 you had, also I doubt the FQ340 will cause you any further embarrassment.
It has such a smooth power delivery, which makes for a very fast, superb road car.
+1, 06 STI, Also had this upgrade but with Tracktives own exhaust system very nice results. Now running with a API built motor 460bhp/480ft lbs torque mapped by Pat (syvecs ecu ) stunning performance but remains a very driveable car

Thanks for all the info. Think I will head down the exhaust, filter, fuel pump and remap route so I do not have to shell out for rebuilds. I just want it quicker than it is and still driveable. I do not want some tw*t in an Astra VXR or Leon Cupra R with a chip keeping up with me!!
