See what you mean mate. Be that that shifts I know it's only got 175bhp but that Torque is something else.
Might be worth a test drive. Just get it out of your system Nothing worse than thinking..... What if
Harder for me cos i've only got what i'd get for mine. If I do have to sell that is
Very nice cars tho

If you want something that will fit Baby and all the gear get a Passat TDI 130 sport estate. I got one after my 3rd came along and it's been great. Can be remapped to over 300 lb/ft for under £500.
No 4 then came along so had to buy a 7 seater to fit everyone in but still have the Passat.

Do like the VW's. Dont fancy an estate yet, not with just one baby on the way. Saying that all the gear everyone keeps telling us will need might just have to yet. Lol

Put it like this, when my second came along (1st didn't live with me so didn't have to worry about getting his stuff in the car) I had a classic scoob. Picked the wife and baby up from hospital in it, got home and looked at all the stuff amassed for his arrival and knew it wasn't going to fit. Tried just in case and couldn't get half of what we had in the boot of the scoob. Traded it in back then for a Skodia Octavia vRS which had an enormous boot and still quick enough to enjoy. The Passat is one of the few cars to have an even bigger boot than the Octavia. Also the Passat is bigger inside than the Audi A4. The Audis have a premium price over the VW's but I think the VW's are a better and more spacious car.

But its a VW! Why not put all the money that you will need to spend on putting it right over then next year towards something better in the first place...like a new BMW M3 for example.

There was a thread on here not that long ago when it was gone into a bit and certainly everyone I know that has had a VW have had abysmal problems with them.

Mine was £840 and I was celebrating. Its a non turbo with basic mods, 29 years old and 6 no claims. I was getting quotes of £1750 originally on price comparison websites but thats because its in a BD post code. So shop around and Im sure you can get a better deal.
