Why Scottscooby? Because if we get to the semis it will really show how bad Arsenals euro season went. Just shows that when it comes to playing with the big boys nothing substitutes experience. We never used to get far but now make the knockout stages every season.

Same goes for me and Owen - I think hes totally overrated but when he dons an england shirt hes about the best chance we have of getting a goal so he gets my vote. However I still think what people did to Beckham after WorldCup '98 was way out of line. Just shows that he is strong enough to ignore all those tw@ts and become the best player in the england side and the team captain. No one can deny that he doesnt work himself into the ground for the team and leads by example.

Bugger, (sound of words being eaten) Nearly the biggest game of the season and our midfield go walkabout, when will they learn that you can't go giving the ball away that cheaply when you are playing against that sort of quality. I can honestly say the best team won one the night and good luck to United against them.
P.S. Isn't it about time Beckham's France 98 was let go, I watched the game at the time, and I can recall England scoring a perfectly good winning goal against Argentina, off the head of the 'Tottenham Plant', only to have it disallowed because 'Stamper, Shearer (who should not even have been in the squad after the Lennon incident), couldn't resist the urge to bury his elbow in a defenders face whilst jumping for the ball.

I'm not suprised your midfield went walkabouts, why shouldnt they when they are having to watch all those long ***** sailing over their heads to that muppet Heskey, who cant read the game, the offside trap, his own team mates and the strength of his pass. I blame Houllier for last night, there you are comfortable at 1-1 and he substitutes your midfield rock Hamann for a luxury player like Smicer, we all think ah hamanns injured, but Houllier said it was a tactical decision, yeah a wrong one!

Well lets see if your dreams come true tonight then boys, I hope so for your sake otherwise I will be handing out some stick tomorrow on this same thread.
This season the Arsenal will win the title but Liverpool did throw away a 12 point lead and Man Utd did not start winning until after the Liverpool game, Just think how different things could have been if we had beaten Bolton and Middlesbrough, but that was then and this is now.
Well after the result tonight and some stick tomorrow I shall make my way to Old Trafford and watch the best team of the 90's.
Daz.
P.S: I have to say good luck to the Scousers tonight as we met a few in Barcelona at the final who were out there for the grin and had a good drink with us all.

With the title run-in so close I do not possibly see how anyone can say they are the far better team
LFC have one thing on their minds at the moment - Champions League glory The league would just be a bonus !
Living in the past ! - Our trophy cabinet appeared to be full to the brim last season which is more than I can say for the Gooners
