I'm not fisnished yet. lol

Here I have my second one. After purchasing my 2002 STi just over a month later this happend.

After giving the car it's first Swissvax (at the time Swissol) I was driving to a local sport next to the river to get some photos.
I was at a stand still waiting for someone to turn into a driveway along a 40mph Zone (A road) traffic going the other way had stopped also to allow them to turn into a drive when all of a sudden I see a set of headlights coming around the 5 cars waiting heading straight for me!! I in a split second engaged 1st gear and turned hard to the left resulting in being clipped down the drivers side.

Looking in my rear view mirror the car (Rover Tomcat) did x1 360 and then slid backwards into bushes.

I got out and went to check on the driver after my jaw hit the ground seeing the damge on the side of my car.
Asked if he was ok. After a minuete or so he asked who I was? When I told him I was the driver who he almost hit head on but hit the side of my car. For him to turn around and say "I missed you pal shut up" . And further "don't worry about insurance mate we will sort it out later"
He could not see he was at fault and was blaming the people who stopped in front of him and wouldn't give me his name etc. He then came out with the most dumbass comments to vitnesses by saying "Whats your problem. Call the old bill I don't care. and finally to me "I didn't kill anyone or anything" To which I told him my baby son could have been in the car with me at the time?
His reply was a sniggle and said "well hes not is he mate"

With that I had enough and smacked him on the nose and pushed him back in his car and told him to sit down and shut it.

When the Police arrived straight away they came upto me and was indicating it was me at fault (I'm guessing due to the type of car it was)and with this little tit accusing me of asault and wanted me arresting.
But witout me saying a word many of the vitneses advised the Police it was the other driver and I was at a stand still.
One of the vitnesses (the passenger of the car turning in to the drive way) advised the Police "He didn't have a belt on and must have hit his head on the steering wheel hence the blood".

After an hour of this the Police sat me in the car and asked what I did to which I replied "Nothing, just check to see if he was OK etc"
Police said "he must have broke his nose on the steering wheel sir"

Going by the skid marks and distance before he went backwards into the bushes indicated he was doing between 65mph - 75mph. So the swipe along the car was a result.

I'm not a agressive person but this tit got what was coming to him.

The car was off the road for 3 months!!

I turned left at a mini roundabout onto a main road when there was a gap in the traffic. A removals van was parked a little down the road, but on the pavement. He tried to do a U turn just as I was diving past. Tried to blame me as he looked and there was no one there so he pulled out. Said I must have been speeding. I explained I was still in first gear and he obviously didn't look as he pulled out. Not bad damage, but insurance wanted to right it off. Their approved repair center wanted 5K to fix it and the insurance sent it to a breakers yard without telling me. I wanted a second quote doing at a garage of my choice and after 4 months of arguing with the insurance I got it back, and it got fixed.

Had another crash last year in my BMW, but no pics. Driving through my town in a 30 zone, a women came down her drive, over the pavement, accross the cycle lane and straight into my near side rear quarter as I went past. She was going forwards too!!! Again she said it must have been my fault and I had to have been speeding as she didn't see me. She looked straight at me as I was approaching!

Not mine I'm afraid, this came in to my mates garage for an MOT, as it woulod not fit on the brake rollers, the owner and mechanic went down the road with the brake tester instead, only made it a few hundred yards past the first corner, lit the rears up and rest was history. I managed to blag these pics off my mate:

It was the Jersey rally , I was over there spectating and heard about the crash , pictures look like you had quite a bit of an impact , seeing how far you moved in the car strapped in your seat makes me glad I took the decision to buy a HANS device when they first came out.

Is the shell fixable ?

I had a bit of an incident 7 years ago. Can't find the pics though. I rolled a Rover twin cam at 60mph three times. Landed in a field - thankfully the right way up. I landed about 10 meters below the level of the road in said field. In front of me was the biggest oak tree i have ever seen and behind was another 10m drop into a river. The only thing not destroyed in the car was me.
I still dont like right hand bends much :-/

I was just lucky through the 70's and 80's, and half of the 90's... I blame FWD for it !

My old car (not my scooby)

Ice last November + a 30% hill leading to my work/black ice settled under the snow.

The repair cost me £130 for a bumper, wing and headlamp

Had this as my first car when I passed my test. 2 months after passing a small animal ran from between some iron railings infront of me mid corner in the pissing rain at 4 in the morning...

Lost the back end, snapped back, spun me 180 degrees into 7 sets of railings. Airbag saved my life as my head went through the drivers door window instead. Woke up with my radio still playing, scrambled out and passed out through shock. Woke up in an Ambulance with a neck brace on. Luckily nothing broken but really nasty whiplash which affects me still

well im surprised at some of the stuff i see on here, i cant understand why people would want to "show off their crash pictures" if it was me i wouldnt be advertising the fact that i had stuffed my pride and joy, secondly the lad who had the fiesta xr2 at 17, just amazing to hear that there are parents out there who are stupid enough to let that happen, i guess that having a ford dealership made the decision so much easier for them!!!!

bet the ferrari owner was spitting feathers after that, some very lucky people out there judging by some of the photos uploaded, but also some very unlucky ones to.
