anyone had a cortisone injection?

I had my GP inject it into my wrist ( tendonitis).
He made a point of pushing my medial nerve to one side so he didn't hit it.
Hurt like buggery for a few hours and then subsided.
However, the next day it became clear that the **** hadn't infact moved the medial nerve out the way enough and had actually hit it.![Freak3](images/smilies/freak3.gif)
Cue an arm swollen 3 times it's normal size, unable to move it and couldn't bear anything heavier than tissue paper on it!
Trip to the NHS walk-in centre as it was a Saturday.....
4 courses of acupuncture later it seems to be cured

Just had a cortisone injection into my elbow, wasnt as bad as I expected but I have felt better things, failing this it's Physio, failing that it's in for an op.
