my mate scratched a disk with it upright... but i have only ever run my xbox's upright and havent had any problems.
people put the first xbox upright as laid flat that's when the main cooling issue came to light with the motherboard over heating and bending, pulling the x clamps and causing the red ring.
the new xbox doesn't have that issue so i guess up or down what ever you have room for is the best bet.

So can anyone tell me how good GT5 is compared to Forza3?
Better or Worse?

according the IGN it has issues by using some unchanged formulas, but thats what made it what it is, a bit like FFX the formula is dated but peeps still play it.
His comments say it all
best driving game CURRENTLY out
Turn 10 ( forza ) will better it no doubt, but at present so they say its top banana.
Im just installing so i,ll let u know

I have both consoles and I would say buy either, the games for the xbox are cheaper once initial selling date is over. I thgink the games are a little harder on the ps3 as compared to the xbox basing it on playing "call of duty 4, 5, 6 and latest" The old xbox is really noisy but I have just bought a new quiet one but have yet to set it up.

I've just brought my Xbox360 up to the bedroom as i'm sick and tired of having to watch Xfactor on Sunday's.
I'm loving it again! Its like being a teenager, currently playing Forza3.

Right, as most of you are blokes trying to persuade Dave onto the XBOX, how many family games do each of the options have? I'm thinking singing, dancing and platform games what us girlies like to play. The thing about the XBOX is all I see are fighting or driving games, neither of which I fancy, though I have played Quake online on PC within the last year.
So, with that in mind, which wins?

Hmm, I'm not sure if Barbie Horse Adventures is available on either platform. But the PS3 has Singstar. The 360 has Lips, Dance Central with Kinect. Tbh you're probably better off buying a Wii. Although the PS3 does have Move which is good fun.

tbh all the main big games will be matched on either platform... as above ps3 has sing star so xbox will match with Lips. you will find that across the board there will be a game to match the other pretty much every time.
now that ps3/xbox have Move and Kinect the more child related games are going to be in abundance so i wouldnt worry lol.
I would say xbox is more child friendly with a softer, easier to use home screen and layout... in my opinion of course
