How quick is a P1 compared to other scoobs?

Puff,
It is a UK spec STI with LOOOOADS of extras. The dealer is fitting a performance exhaust among other things. They still say it will push out 300-320 brake 384nm. I think they have a nod towards the PPP pack as I know the exhuast will be prodrive NOT wrsport.
Full spec to come nearer the time. It has been built. End may early june delivery.

Sorry mate I have to disagree, I sold my modded 99 for a P1 and there's was no comparison, even in a straightline the P1's extra horses and 8000 redline put it leagues ahead. The standard UK in 5th is awful and used to die a death, almost useless. The P1 pulled in 5th right up to 140 lots more torque.
However, not wanting to start an argument, I traded my P1 for an Evo6 Tommi Mak. OK, so it isn't a subaru so a little irrelevant to this thread but I got shot of the P1 because I had it 6 months and had to have the front lip re-sprayed twice, new pads because the standard brakes were truly, truly appalling and two gear box replacements. Married with a diabolical customer service from Subaru - it just had to go.

On sunday was in convoy with si white in his P1. Unfortunatly I (my98 wagon) was not running quite right over boosting slightly,cusco suspension not set up on the rear properly, AP racing discs on the wrong way round. The p1 of si whites still pulled on me handled better and had quicker acceleration there again i was in a wagon fun. By a cheaper car defo do suspension and brakes. Then progress from there now have dawes device magnex front and mid section with a monster back box boked in on monday at PE for full rolling road and geomatry setup being paid for by my dealer![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
