Goodbye Hatch

you will be back that range is a million miles away from a performance car, no high speed cornering for you, not to mention fitting in with the norm (boring) lol
good luck with it though its a nice set of weels

Cheers for all the comments!
Picked up the Range from Harlow yesterday...put £60 in it...and the trip range said 130 miles! Anyway..one heart attack later by the time I got home (90 all the way ) the trip computer had climbed to 180 miles left after a 130 mile journey... so it obviously had been trashed a tad on test drives Id imagine.... Mpg now reads 20 as opposed to 12 LOL
Yes Steve it's called Midnight Blue Pearl...

I gotta try and convince you to keep or get another:
You said:
Things I will not miss:
Having to find a Shell garage
The road noise.. Quiet they are not
The fuel economy
Subaru UK
Fuel economy is WORSE than a scoob. My boss had one, trundling along at 20MPG if he was lucky so all you will be doing is finding ANY garage instead of enjoying a drive.
You'll get keyed coz chavs dont like people "flashing the cash" with a motor like that.
Diesel is as expensive as V-Power. You can always go to momentum, its still better than the normal RON.
Insurance is pants.
Parts will be a nightmare.
Parking will be a biatch.
It will still be slow, a biatch to manouveur and NO FUN AT ALL.
Road noise might be reduced, but it will still be a tractor and very loud in these cold mornings! brrrrr.
All I can say is, you'll either be buying another scoob (saloon maybe?) or you're getting too old!

For me personally, the impreza hatch is the worst version they have produced, it just needs the kia badge on the front so im happy you saw sense, really nice looking RRS that, will be very comfortable to cruise around in looking down on all us lesser folk.

I eventually got £15k mate.
Best "franchise dealer" offer was £14.5k
Both "best trade ins" were London garages
The best Wiltshire/Glos/Bristol could offer was £10k

that' the way these car dealers work... I was expecting him to put it up for £17k.. I agree he'll be lucky to get that...but then again it's fully loaded with Subaru extras so £2k for sat nav, push button start & recaros..he's pitching it against the 330s price obviously
