I'm with Guv on this one.

There are more than enough 22B's in warm garages or bubbles, nice to see one that isn't wrapped up in cotton wool.

Does this mean by your coments that if do not own a garage you can't own a 22b?

It drives me crazy people who buy scooby's mod and polish the nuts of them and keep thennot track or drive them in the rain and keep them in garages in winter!!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO......they blinkin rally/track cars..........made and designed to be driven.....hell how many 2.0 GL do you see farmers and there wives in? ....LOADS they use them because there solid, reilable and durable machines.

All that show shine mob you who only bring the cars out during summer driving from one gehy show to another..............of course your going to win shinyest blinkin car coz you never drive the f..ing thing!!!

Don't get me wrong I like a clean car and a few coats of wax just like the next bloke but if its dirty its ok you can WASH IT!!

Superb ! a car with some snow on it and it gets a debate What ever model it is its still an Impreza. It could have a 400 run or a 1000 run but its still an impreza and god knows how many of the ******* there is Next we will be calling people for not garaging a P1 cause they have a 1000 run

its not the weather thats the issue its the idiot drivers who drive in it!!!
it should not be used as there is more chance in this weather of some idiot sliding into the back of it , now ask yourself would you buy a 22b that was an insurance right off, would imagine the panels are not the easiest to get hold of either.

all those that say its just a car ,it is but bare the above thought ,its a rare car!!

Looking at the plate i'd assume it's in a country where they know how to drive in the snow

I hope they don't use road salt over there considering that the classic's tend to rust quite badly on the rear arches.

I would like to clarify the situation with my 22B. Car was converted to LHD version. Now it is in the middle of registration process in Czech Republic. Its difficult to describe all the details, but its impossible to make it street legal in official way (current plates are from my Outback :-) now. I spent a lot of money and time and I really need try to drive it :-) It is safer to drive with Outback plates than without plates. I have garage (temperd store 30 km away, but its hard to move there on summer tires. Week ago we had no snow forecast, but weather changed very quickly. I think also its not good idea to drive 22B in winter here even on winter tires, because salt is used on the 95% of the roads. :-(. I have some experience with snow driving because I competed some snow races last 5 years (with my classic shape Sti wagon with 2,5 STi engine and Type R technic (DCCD, gearbox, differentials etc.). Now the 22B is third car and not dedicated for everyday use. I have to wait when the snow will thaw and i will move to garage.
