And if that were true you wouldn't have felt the need to wade into the thread would you? No, I suspect you're one of those that likes to have the shiny new car and that 'status' that comes with it... which in this case ain't much LOL

Yep, i got rid of my M3 to get the status of the subaru

I waded it because on every thread about the new cars you wade in with needless posts having a 'go'. If the thread concerns something you don't like then how about actually not reading it and moving on. Be a bigger man and ignore the posts about the shinny new status symbols if they make you feel small and inferior.... simple

Well maybe the M3 was 'old'

No, you waded in because your status symbol was being questioned. Pure and simple. Otherwise you would take your own medicine and not post about something you don't like (my opinion) wouldn't you?

FYI this is the first time in months I have posted about the hatch not that I would expect you to notice being as self absorbed as you obviously are. Anyway I only waded in myself as the banter had already started.

I can't help myself, hatch owners are all too easy to wind up and occasionally they need a dose of the truth

All good fun

P.S. Small and inferior - LOL! Good try

The M3 was old, it was 6 years old when i got rid... nice car tho.

Your are spot on, i'm not a fan of your opinion and its getting as old as your car. Its nearly as tired as P$ Lewis and his Bob Monkhouse style 'gags'.... but not quite . But hey if you like old tat i won't hold it against you.... but in red too. Ewwwwww

Wasn't actually there when I hit reply, but as you seem to have the answer to everything I defer to your superior know it all knowledge or lack of. FYI: phone rang during my reply so took a while (just like this one as it goes.. lol).

The fat ****** is asleep in the garage... to cold to get put such a status symbol out.

When it does come out no need for a head start, i'll be busy gettin the jump leads out or givin you a push start to get that old heap going... presuming it will even run in these temps. It hard for these old 'classic' vehicles... remember to keep the choke out to compensate

LOL... i really need to read back what i type. 'to cold to get put'... wtf 'too cold to get out' would have been better!

Come on... you don't get it out cause it's a clapped out shed thats lucky to start and run in summer never mind winter. I believe Halfords will do some winter checks to help out... their technicians may even think you are a God for having such an iconic car (if it wasn't red!)

PS are you a Ferrari F1 fan?

Gotta say though i have to agree with Tone, Red is awful colour for a scoob, only people of exceptional gayness buy red cars or a girl

red looks good on 1 car only

OK
I'm sure the UK sales have been down.
The UK market isn't terribly big though, now is it.

There are sales figures posted on here somewhere for Subaru in general.

People buy what they like - and I can speak from experience about the hatch when compared to previous models
You on the other hand cannot

Now **** away off and sit on your pish stained smelly drivers seat

Whats it like getting parts for an 11 year old shed?

They fitted the kits to both my ooooooold 'classics' , i presuming you have some nice audi style DRLs but if not i'm sure they will fit them at the same time. Try to get blue for 'maximum' effect.

I won't mention my thoughts on Fernando Alonso then...

But anyway, who's up for a carbon roof on their new 2011???

yep, not good, and it is always started by the same bunch of classic humpers (my term of the day ).

It is all deja vu to me. Every new model gets the 'omg, what are they doing'. I remember when the bug eyes came out, it was as if the devil had designed them, according to the posts. Now everyone loves em. Every single model has had its haters, and eventually each revision will have it's time as a 'classic'. Time unlike some people moves on.

All I know is, that I have always enjoyed driving them. 4th March 2000 I had my first scoob, was a Saturday, sunny day, mica red turbo 2000. Smile on face that day. 1st March 2003 I had my second. Blue mica wrx sti type uk. Smile on my face that day. 24th Sept 05, had my third, a blue mica wrx 5 door. Smile on my face that day too, even after swapping in my sti. More recently my sti hatch, on the 26th Sept '10. Smile on my face that day, probably bigger than the other three times.

When I am old, they'll have to find me a black scoob hearse

I am off out, to have a blat around in the car, in the salt covered icy roads to use it for what it was designed for

It doesn't need many as it rarely goes wrong, built when Subarus were reliable... you won't know much about that LOL

Nearly a 12 year old shed now though eh?

You must be sh1tting yourself wevery time you take it out, because it'll be written off if it has the slightest incident.

Regarding design comments above

I bet you moaned your fecking head off when the newage cars were revealed

I used to have an MY98 car - it had started to rust slightly at the top of the roof - where it meets the screen.
It was replaced by an MY00 car - it had a few bubbles on the boot lid
