that was not my intention at all so don't tar me with the same brush as tdw. i was aiming it towards the fact that a PCSO has gone round to tell my friends mum to take them down over something stupid.

This one has been doing the rounds for years. I don't think it's true in this case, although I remember the original story on the news years back, which was true.
You could hang a great big Swaztika (sp) in your house if you wanted and there is sod all anyone can do about it

The police/PCSO's are public servants. In most cases, if someone...whoever they are....makes a complaint (however lame it is)..they at least have to attend at the 'offending' house.
Unless you can get a gaffer to see it for what it is.....but with things like this, they probably wouldn't want to dare upset anyone!

I would hope this story is a joke but remember that it won't be the PCSO's fault.
The police/PCSO's are public servants. In most cases, if someone...whoever they are....makes a complaint (however lame it is)..they at least have to attend at the 'offending' house.

Perhaps, although this doesnt seem like a well thought out policy to me. If the PCSO isnt responsible then the 'advise' should travel back up the chain of command.
