awesome car love the way you put the thread very wel organised, love the wheels i thought i was the only 1 the 16" wheels because everyone seem to gofor 17" & 18" i stil think 16" are better but could be wrong.

Thats a wicked thred mate, Im currently in the process of re building my Classic waggon engine.... and im going down the forged route as well, Gonna make the old girl bullit proof.... well thats the plan !
my spec is as follows so far :-
0.5mm o/size forged pistons
H Beam forged Con Rods
Cosworth Baffled sump plate
Roger Clarke high pressure oil pump
Cometic Steel head gaskets
ARP Long head studs
Pink 550cc Injectors
Parralel fuel rails
VF35 Turbo
Hayward & Scott cermic coated tubular manifold & up pipe
One off bespoke Hayward & Scott side exit exhaust
Walbro Fuel pump & fuel lab regulator
Simtek ECU with anti slag and launch control coming soon once shes all run in........

Update on this
I have about 19,000km on the engine now since I built it. Plans are an SC40 or 46 (cant decide) and tubular headers.
I had it out on track on the 29th december 2011 did ok but found the T1r's useless in the wet,

Also,
New Revolution Cat Back arrived today 3" with 100mm rolled tail pipe all slip jointed so no hassle with gaskets
Sounds gorgeous very quiet at idle and no drone when crusing and a nice bark on full chat, delighted with the fit and quality for the price
