It was the joke about having a goat eat some form of oats (or similar food item) out of your **** that crossed the line for me.
A convesation between father and son would never have the words **** and EAT in it.
If it isn't even a tiny bit beleiveable, then I can't seem to find it funny.
The Morgana show that was on after gave me a few chuckles. ""soixante-neuf" !!!

I agree he seems to have lost it. He was joke live but his new show seems to just be an attempt to be as offensive as possible.
I'm not easily offended at all but offensive is not the same as funny.
I think anything is fair game in comedy and don't believe in censorship but his stuff just isn't funny.

His deeply offensive comments on Mock The Week (Princess Diana jokes come to mind) were extremely funny in that context - as the context made them just as funny as the offense.
Swearing is just not the same.

I'm off to see Jimmy Carr on Friday, so I am far from being offended by that type of humour, but I can see how some people would be.

Was on channel 4 last week.
This is a summary of the content, and is from memory, so please don't quote me as getting it exactly right.
Basically a dig at Jack Tweed (and Jade Goody) .....
Saying that he doesn't have to worry about bringing up her children as they're not his.
and that he should be thankful, that because of the treatment she was receiving, she'd lost loads of weight and her lady parts would be tight again.
My wife suffered (4 years ago) exactly the same cancer as Jade Goody, and I had the misfortune to turn this on just as he came out with this joke. She was in tears and inconsolable for some time afterwards.
I reaffirm my **** comment.

Cheers. She was until he opened his stupid mouth.
Not only is she still suffering from the physical after-effects of the chemotherapy and radiotherapy, there's also the PTSD mental anguish that her radical treatment caused her (and me for that matter).

I thought it was ok. Not the funniest but not crap. People need to lighten up. You cant laugh at something distasteful that doesnt affect you then **** & moan when something is close to you.
I quite liked that Jake Whitehall on the Royal Variety show.
Jimmy Carr is a lot cruder live than on any of his tv shows.

Can you really say that was a reasonable thing to make fun of. That disease and the treatment and a course of Chemotherapy is a long, painful, and frightening experience and is not the sort of thing that anyone wants to be reminded of, especially by a second rater with something that isn't even funny in the first place anyway.
