Glad Stella won, I liked her. Chris was ok, but a bit wishy washy

I really thought Chris would win more because he was younger and less experienced so could be moulded into whatever role Sugar wanted him to fill, but I was pleased to be wrong as Stella did a great job in the final and seemed able to get people working with her rather than for her.

As for Liz..... Mmmmmm

it is a teeny weeny bit of a con, because they have both been working for him for the last 6 months

he makes his decision more on the "on the job" performance than the final task

Yeah, Stella was a focused candidate, no messing. She showed excellent leadership skills throughout the process, and a hawk-eye approach to her target. Chris was a blue-eyed sleeping beauty Very well-read and a man of just enough words, but when it comes to selling things, no one cares how well you could debate over theology (ref: he said that in one of his torture sessions/mini-interviews). He wasn't too bad of a sales person either, not afraid of getting his suit dirty for any task. But, when it came to the creative side of business, he had to think bleddy hard e.g. his advert making on Prism with millions of retakes. He needed to be a bit more of a quick thinker, trouble shooter and a problem solver. His "cool as" Prism bottle reminded me of L’Eau D’Issey from Issey Miyake However, Sugar has already asked Chris to ring his doorbell whenever he fancies. He will do well, anyway. He is a nice lad.

Chris did better in the sales tasks and on the creative side Prism was far better than Urban imho. Half his problem with the ad was the muppet actor/bartender making a mess.

Certainly. Prism bottle design was much cooler than Urbon vinegar lookalike bottle. Creativity for the advert would have been to visualise, direct others, and materialise effectively within a very small period of time, which Chris was unable to do. Regarding others making a mess, lack of getting the best out of others to enrich the project was an issue with him i.e. them two half-head muppets going for pink feminine colour of the drink, even when he had debriefed them to go for no colour whatsoever. The man muppet was sure-shot for pink during the negotiations, which did make me think whether he was otherwise manipulating. Anyhow, Chris did get good feedback from the boss. He will do well in his career.
