Just to return to an old thread, I've just read the replies. Yes, one I did not put just a tenner in as by the time I getbout the station I would have to pull back in to fill up hence I put 40 or 30 whatever it was I put in. Secondly, yes I'm fully aware not to run these things on 95 Ron it's just I was runnin on empty and the pickEy garage never sold super and I was 80 mile from home.
Looks like I'm gettin quite an average run for my money in comparison to you guys. Did 202 to full tank this week. Can't complain, I have seen worse. I blame the governments duty on fuel not the despicable economy of these cars

bristol to plymouth (enginetunner) and back to bristol = 250miles doing no more than 80mph on motorway = 18 gallons.so thats about 14 to gallon,so on a £10 mine will do 28 miles .thats running 451bhp

I wouldn't run it on BP either. But then again i wouldn't run a moped on it.

If you are a bit geeky like me there is a free app for the iphone called 'road trip'. Every time you fill up put your odometer reading in and how much fuel you've put in and it works all your mpg and averages for you.
I'm averaging 23.7 mpg (highest was a motorway run of 28.8) that's on a 97 classic with approx 350 bhp (simtek). 40 miles on a tenner!

38-40 miles on a tenner here, with mostly off-boost, urban/suburban driving. This is on V-Power at 126.9p per litre.
STi 5 remapped for V-Power, at 342bhp.

I get about 30-40 miles per tenner on average, Just done a run from Leeds to Northumberland and back inc some proper right foot action up there for about 80miles and did just under 400 miles to £80 so I`m quite happy bout that having read some of these posts. Mine seems to do loads of miles on motorway but put in on the roads near me with stop start all the time and get bout same as everyone else. 52 bug wrx wagon
